Pen15 is local to me, I probably shouldn't name him but it belongs to a former truck racer/motorcycle racer who now does motorcycle commentary...he is known to be a bit of a joker too!
Would expect that one to get withdrawn.

Know of M4LCO on a black Skoda, by all accounts he is a right bell end.

DVLA actually vet the number plates every 6mths on issue to remove those which may offend or have foul language connotations.
The problem they have though is identifying those which may offend in a foreign language.
It's about time Mitsubishi realised that their Pajero range actually means '*anker (rhymes with Barclays Banker) in Spanish

I heard once (who knows if true) that BL planned to call a car the Macro (sounds believable, given Mini and Maxi), but in France it would have sounded an awful lot like "maquereaux". "Drive the new BL mackerel" would have been bad enough, but maquereaux is also slang for pimp.

I always thought BL missed a trick in not making a high performance Allegro Vivace, or Allegrissimo.

But then again, given its dynamics, maybe that was a good thing.

In America you can choose your own Number plate. This is my mates son with his car that he bought when he was working for Apple over there. I think it cost him something like $40. He brought the car home with him too!

I heard somewhere that CU <two numbers> NTS and FU <two numbers> FKR were only ever to be issued to police vehicles!

A fella called Trevor Nation was at one time a works motorcycle racer for the JPS Norton rotary team

he had a merc and I recalled it spelt his surname

he had the number one digit or digits slanted to achieve the affect

???

Would the rally version have been an Allegrississimo?

Perhaps the timing was not quite right for that model.
