Dissected them and sent the parts back to Germany for medical study

Concentration camps were first used in the 19th century by us in Africa if I remember right. I have no idea if we did any medical experiments though. It wouldn't surprise me, the idea of experimenting on prisoners crops up to this day.

I knew about that years ago .....they shipped a lot of them to a peninsula I believe, to starve them to death.

The Belgian King was another despot

Some of these European countries have got a lot to answer for, probably more than Albion.

Yes the Belgians in the Congo that was pretty dire

they practised amputations as punishment in there rubber plantations

British atrocities pre-date you by a long way gasbag.

pre date yes they do

Tasmanian aborigines were pretty much wiped out

dunno if it was a deliberate act

than of course noseall there was Cromwell in Ireland

but we are talking about the 20 th century

How far do you want to go back
Roman invasion ???

Only as far as gasbags heady days of the Empire. Enough atrocity for anyone.

what in modern times 20th century ? The British had a deliberate policy of genocide

did they ???

in case it causes confusion Cromwell I mean Oliver Cromwell

Why the obsess about dates? You think the Holocaust will be old news anytime soon? The British are no better or worse than any other country regards wars and their atrocities.

You need to pay attention noseall
The German government has apologised today for a policy of deliberate genocide in Namibia

The British empire did some pretty terrible things but I don't know if there were any deliberate attempts at Genocide or Ethnic cleansing in the 19th century or later. Most of our atrocities were more due to lack of thoughtor caring than deliberate action.

We killed a large number of people in concentration camps during the second Boer war, but that was because we didn't care enough to feed them, or allow proper hygiene or medical care rather than wanting to exterminate them. And to our credit we did start providing better care to our prisoners after the public found out how bad it was.
