First check if you actually have a cavity. If you have, then the CWI will have probably needed to be injected. The usual way to inject the CWI is via small holes drilled through into the cavity, from the outside. They are drilled around every 1 metre, so there will be many of them, through the mortar and they will be capped with a sealant. The sealant will probably be obvious.
If it does have CWI, then you can get the details and a copy of the guarantee by filling in a request form online. This was discussed in this form a few weeks ago. It costs a few pounds for the process.

If its unrendered brick , if you can see quite a few 1/2 bricks there a good chance its solid walls.

Yes! you can make sure, by measuring the thickness, outside to inside plaster face, via a door or through a window. It will be 2x the depth of a brick + plaster. No cavity, with no extra insulation on the inside, means it will be cold, difficult to heat and expensive.

Can you share photos of the damp and mould? If caused by VWI causing bridging / cold spots then that should be clear from photos.
Could be that the insulation is not good and moisture in air high, or rising damp issues, or other damp issues, like leaking gutters, pipes etc.

Sorry forgot to take photos - instead the missus has taken some and sent them to me. She's there. I think I may have mistaken the holes I thought were CWI - they may be damp proofing holes. Here are some pics.. the holes I thought were CWI are going horizontally along the wall on the third / fourth brick up
