How the hell can army barracks be wrong !

Imagine how badly they are treated in the EU states if they are willing to risk their lives to escape from it.
Sorry to burst your xenophobic bubble, but the vast majority don't want to escape EU for UK. They prefer to remain in EU.
416 600 first-time asylum seekers applied for international protection in the Member States of the EU in 2020.
41% of EU first instance asylum decisions resulted in positive outcomes in 2020

I think some of those refugees escaped UK for the protection of EU.
Farage ensured his children were eligible for EU protection.
Other right wing politicians tried to obtain EU residency also.

They were good enough for our soldiers!!!

If I were fleeing for my life and got in a safe country they could put me in a barn !

And I'd be grateful !!!

" Abdul you're where ? In a barracks ha ha ha '

' I'm in a hotel meals the lot....co.plain you might get in here !!!!! '

My boy was at Bulford camp. When they returned from one tour they were climbing in the windows cos the door didn't work. There was no lights either for some time. Some of the barracks aren't fit for a cockroach.

It should make you sick the way our Government treats our soldiers and their living conditions, yet you still vote for them. Go figure.

https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/britain-first-tricked-protesting-outside-hotels-without-asylum-seekers/

Far-right group Britain First has been tricked into protesting outside hotels that do not house asylum seekers after being given a fake list by the public.

Last year, supporters of the group entered hotels used by the Home Office to house asylum seekers and banged on bedroom doors where they were staying.

Followers have since started repeating these stunts, with Britain First turning to members of the public to ask for the names of such premises where they know asylum seekers are being accommodated.

However, hundreds of people took the group's appeal as an opportunity to dupe them by providing the leaders with decoy hotels that were not being used to house refugees, according to a report in the Guardian.

As far as I'm concerned the government are right about this.

At the end of the day the camp is better where they have come from.

How squalid were the conditions really?

Decisions like this just open the flood gates

Perhaps they would like to go back to the camps in Sangette where they lived for months before boarding a dinghy? I’m sure that could be arranged.

So all asylum seekers should be housed in squalid conditions?
Is this some kind of punishment, "don't you dare seek asylum in UK?"

It's good that UK is a role model for other countries.

Jeezus, you could make a living from this malarkey. Keep sneaking back in , lose your documents and claim your compo.

What kind of poxy system allows someone to come in illegally then make a claim (at your host's cost) that their free housing is not good enough and then get paid thousands of pounds. Is there not a legal concept that you can't profit from crime?

How squalid were they really?

They had to have communal toilets and showers, and share kitchens, and there were multiple beds in 1 dormer.

They were better kept then their home country, they were better kept than the rancid makeshift camps they came from. They were well fed and had all the medical treatment etc they required.

The UK is the laughing stock of the world thanks to rubbish such as these. I hope the government appeal the decision,
