..according to reports on the BBC before the UK can return to 'normal'. Well, if it has to be, it has to be but even that should be dependant on how things go. At least it will give more time to vaccinate more people to protect the selfish ant-vax morons who go round with their ears and eyes covered but their mouths wide open!

Only this Saturday when Mrs Mottie was in a restaurant with her friends, a group of three (one man and two women) were turned away from the restaurant because they turned up without face coverings. They were very annoyed. Some diners that saw it, clapped and cheered the employee who gave them the good news.

Waiter said they couldn't be served if they didn't follow the commandments.
The men waited outside a few minutes, a large group of people arrived, around 15 of them.
They were discussing where to go and restaurant owner came out.
All of a sudden there was no need for any mask, alcohol or app.
The men laughed at him and went to the other restaurant over the road.
The owner was shouting and screaming at the waiter and kicked him out.
Told him never to come back.
Quite a scene...
There was no cheer from the people around...

It's the Government's fault that the rule around mask exemption is so lax.

I have seen numerous videos on TT where people are challenged in supermarkets about not wearing a mask. In one, the police are called - what? - then the police demand proof of exemption and when it is not forthcoming the person is arrested!!

Some police in this respect are so ill-educated, it beggars belief!

Yes, we would like all people to wear a mask, but HMG gave everyone a get out of jail free card there.

True, and I agree with most of that for an individual but when a whole group or family claims exemption I think there’s a very good chance they are taking the **** and if they have that couldn’t-care-less attitude, I consider them to be an above average risk and I don’t want them around me.

Ask any waiter and they'll tell you a lot more unbelievable stories.
I witnessed that with my eyes and the stupid waiter deserved a kick in the teeth for his attitude.
If I was the restaurant owner I wouldn't have sacked him, but beaten him.
Wasting a 15 seat trade for a stupid mask and a useless app after being shut for a year.
