England and Wales transgender woman can be put into a woman’s prison

When you have a women's prison

And containing vulnerable women

You lock them in with a male rapist and sex offender

What do you expect to happen?

Do you expect the results to be different if he says the magic words "I am a woman?"

"The judges were incredulous that ‘no one knows’ how many GRC holders are in prison, particularly as the Policies contain provisions specifically relating to prisoners with a GRC. The Secretary of State for Justice was instructed to provide full and comprehensive data on trans prisoners, including separate figures for those with a GRC and the estate in which they are held. This will be the first time that data on prisoners with GRCs are collected and the first time that the true number of male prisoners held in the female estate will be calculated. It is not known whether this information will be publicly available."

"Alan Baker was convicted of murder in 2013 at High Court in Dunbarton after he killed a man he had met through an online gay dating service by stabbing him in the chest at least 16 times. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. At the trial it was revealed that Baker had a history of domestic violence, inflicting abuse on five other male partners (Keith McLeod, Daily Record, 14 February 2018).

By 2018, Baker had ‘transitioned’, had changed his name to Alex Stewart and was imprisoned in the female estate at HMP Greenock. Although he had not had any ‘reassignment’ surgery, he was reported to be ‘living as a woman’. His ‘womanly’ activities included working in the prison hair salon, learning about make-up application, showering with the female inmates and winning the prison’s coveted Miss Fitness trophy. A prison source elaborated, “The rest of them shouldn’t have bothered even entering. It was surreal. Everybody knew it wasn’t very fair, but nobody was allowed to say it. The women inmates have had to accept that Stewart is being allowed to live as a woman, despite not having had surgery. That means she is in the showers at the same time as other inmates, which some have found quite awkward (sic).” (Keith McLeod, Daily Record, 14 February 2018)

"In March 2017 Jeska was convicted at Birmingham Crown Court of attempted murder, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of possession of an article with a blade or sharp point in a public place. His victim suffered life-changing injuries. Jeska was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

The attacks took place after Jeska, a male fell runner who had ‘transitioned’ and who had been competing in the female category, was instructed to provide blood samples to determine his testosterone levels, in line with UK Athletics regulations. Between 2010 and 2012, Jeska had been England’s champion fell runner in the female category three times. Where males are are allowed to compete with women after they ‘transition’ is quite usual for them to rise to the top of their field and to enjoy a great deal of success. The reasons for this are quite evident and are why female sports categories exist in the first place: the average man has significant physical advantages over the average woman in terms of size, strength, reach, bone density and heart and lung capacity. Women’s sporting categories exist to create fair and safe sports for women. You can read more about that at https://fairplayforwomen.com/campaigns/sports-campaign/.

After failing to produce the blood samples, these results were declared null and void (Helen Pidd, The Guardian, 17 March 2017). In response, Jeska stabbed an official in the head and neck and injured two other UK Athletics officials who tried to intervene (Frances Perraudin, The Guardian, 22 September 2016). Jeska is serving his sentence at HMP Foston Hall, a women’s prison (SkyNews, 23 September 2016).

Sentencing details indicate that these convictions have been recorded in the female crime statistics. In the case of the conviction for attempted murder, this falsely elevates the number of women convicted of attempted murder in 2017 by 20%."

Jones was convicted in 2001 when he was 18 years old of manslaughter after he killed his 43-year old partner, Michael Cutler, by suffocation and strangulation. By the time of his arrest, he had changed his name by deed poll to Karen Louise Lawson. It was reported at his trial that he had been in the process of ‘transitioning’ whilst he was with Cutler and had wanted to wear female clothing and nail varnish, and have ‘reassignment’ surgery. Cutler had apparently refused to pay for this surgery and a psychiatric report stated that Jones/Lawson’s gender identity disorder was a significant factor leading to him losing control (and of course Cutler losing his life). Jones-now-Lawson was jailed for five years in the male estate at a Young Offenders’ Institute, but was released in 2002 on Licence to a female bail hostel (Manchester Evening News, 10 August 2004).

Only five days after his release, he violently attacked and attempted to rape a female shop assistant at Transformations, a shop where men can buy clothing and other items for their ‘transition’. The attack only ended because he failed to get an erection. During his trial in 2003 at Bolton Crown Court, his defence claimed that the attack had been a cry for help and a desperate attempt to obtain ‘reassignment’ surgery by returning to prison where he believed he would be able to obtain it. The Court heard that he was angry that whilst his victim was a woman, he was not (Evening Standard, 18 August 2003). Although his defence team claimed that Jones/Lawson was also a victim, he was sentenced to life imprisonment and was initially held in the male estate at HMP Manchester (Manchester Evening News, 10 August 2004).

At some point during his incarceration, he obtained a Gender Recognition Certificate which stated that he was legally a woman. You can read about the process of obtaining a Gender Recognition Certificate on Can a male really become a woman?. At that time the criteria for moving males into the female estate was having had ‘reassignment surgery’. Jones/Lawson had not had this surgery and was prevented from obtaining it until he had ‘lived as a woman’ for two years, something which it was decided would only be possible in a women’s prison. He brought a legal case, won the right to be transferred to a women’s prison and established the criteria for admission to the female estate as possession of a Gender Recognition Certificate. He later had the ‘reassignment’ surgery that he claimed was the motivation for his violent and terrifying crimes and was later released. He changed his name to Karen Jones (Emily Hall & James Fielding, MailOnline, 27 February 2018). You can read more about the changing criteria for males being housed in women’s prisons on A brief history of men in women's prisons and more about the Jones legal case at @StillTISH Gender Abolition.

In 2018, the Daily Mail reported that Jones had been invited by Lord Patel, Chairman of the Community Innovations Enterprise, to address a reception at the House of Lords to launch the review, Inside Gender Identity: A Report on meeting Health and Social Needs of Transgender People in the Criminal Justice System. Lord Patel was fully aware of the full nature of his crimes (Emily Hall & James Fielding, MailOnline, 27 February 2018).

Not quite sure why that remark is directed at me

These transgender types should have a wing in prison exclusively for themselves.
If they demand to be sent to womans prison they should have their male bits surgically removed to complete their 'transition'in order to offer some protection to female inmates.

Looks like there was a legal ruling today allowing blokes identifying as woman who are guilty of a criminal offence will be allowed to serve there sentence in a woman’s prison :ROFLMAO:

the case that opposed this nonsense was brought by woman who stated that if this caper was allowed woman prisoners would be put at risk in particular from sex offenders

the fruit cake judge and court ignored these concerns :ROFLMAO:

so there you have it lunatics have taken over the asylum and trans wat sit fruit cakes can go to a female prison :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Judge's comments:
"I can accept, at any rate for present purposes, that the unconditional introduction of a transgender woman into the general population of a women's prison carries a statistically greater risk of sexual assault upon non transgender prisoners than would be the case if a non-transgender woman was introduced."

So in reality, the Judge said today in a judgement regarding women's prisons and women's safety:

"I can accept, at any rate for present purposes, that the unconditional introduction of a transgender woman male into the general population of a women's prison carries a statistically greater risk of sexual assault upon non transgender prisoners women than would be the case if a non-transgender woman woman was introduced"
