Hi guys,

Converting half of a double semi-detached garage into a kitchen. Not sure what to do with the floor in order for it to be warm and to comply with the Building Regulation. Can you help please?

What type of floor should I lay and how high the new floor should be above the DPC?

Photo attached.

Thank you,

Do I need to lay some membrane under Celotex?

Can I tile over Celotex, or do I need to lay something on top of celotex?

If you are following the above.. You need a screed on top of the Celotex and DMP between
