Can I connect 2 Wago connectors to make a 10 way connector?

(Have searched but didn't find anything but would guess this has been asked before).

I need to bring 6 earth conductors together on a lighting circuit into a Wago connector.

3 x for the light fittings.
2 x for the lighting radial circuit
1 x for the switch

Wago don't make a 6 way connector so can I join two together with some sleeved earth conductor stripped from the 1.5 twin and earth I'll be using for the install?

Thanks.

Nothing wrong with running a short wire between two connectors.

Wago do make 6 and 8 way connectors, but unfortunately only in push-in (which are not suitable for flexible conductors), not in lever type.

Yes - but, in relation to the title of this thread, you would then effectively end up with an 8-way (not 10-way) connector, because two of the ways will have been used up by the wire connecting the two Wagos.

Kind Regards, John

Hi, thanks for all the replies.

Point taken on the 8-way connector.

I'm glad this is an acceptable way of doing it.

Thanks again.

As you have 10 holes I sometimes put 2 straps across one at each end, this holds the wagos together more secure and also prevents it pivoting round on the one wire

I've got a Wago Box XL so was planning to insert them into the slots in the box. Then I'll bridge two of them as discussed.
Hope that will work!
