Combi diverter replacement

Zero if it's an Intergas or a first generation Junior
About £500 if it's a Mk1 CDi where you have to take half the boiler to bits to get the sodding thing out
About £3000 if it's a Glow-worm Energysaver and you want a good job doing

Thanks but found this a little more helpful .
If the valve does have to be replaced and your boiler is out of warranty, you'll need to pay for a new valve and cover the labour cost for fitting. A diverter valve can cost between £80 and £200. If you add around £50 for labour on top of this, you could be looking at spending from £130 to £250

I've done 2 today, both Worcester boiler, part is around £100, dead easy job as long as iso valves work on boiler, and drain valve doesn't leak afterwards.
Labour rate dependant on your locality, did both mine in 20 mins each.

Stop reading useless inaccurate articles written by the ignorant. Make and model of boiler? No quality boiler repairer will take your word that the diverter has failed...there's also a whole bunch of legal checks required on the boiler apart from the repair and that takes time and has to be included in the cost.
