Live in a semi and next door are having their roof done. Whilst removing the tiles one of the roofers has dropped a tile and ripped our sarking next to the party wall.

Just wondering what would be reasonable when asking them to repair the tear. Fully expecting the roofers to try to fob me off and tell me it doesn't matter, but I've fully boarded our loft and use it as a little workshop on a regular basis. I don't want water ingress or a howling gale when I'm up there.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Just ask them nicely , don't point the finger.
Remember , bite someone and they will probably bite you back.
It will take a few minutes to fix .

Easy fix , using normal underlay .
Maybe he's not finished ? There is obviously tiles missing .

All resolved. Was quite funny. The roofer who accidentally dropped the tile tried to claim he hadn't done it and the hole must have already been there. Then his gaffer then told him to shut up and fixed it up.
