I need some expert advice on which system boiler can replace my Keston Heat 45 boiler in my cellar / basement.

It has three bends in the dual flue before exiting the coal chute.

Thanks

sadly you are probably looking at another Keston, yes they are poor , but offer flueing options that not many others do

That’s what I’ve heard but I don’t really want a Keston

Cant blame you for that, there are others that can be used, but the flue will be expensive,I beleive the Intergas range can be used in your scenario, far better boilers than Keston, I think @muggles on here fits them so will know for sure, I have tagged him for you so he will see this, hopefully he can advise you better

How much access is there to run a new flue system? Intergas would be a great option if you have space to get a new flue in but it can't reuse the existing. Modern Keston boilers are now Ideal Logics with an adapter to fit MuPVC twin flue and an enormous price tag.

I think there’s plenty of space. What is the cost uplift to use the adapter. Any help much appreciated

If there's space to fit something else then I'd advise doing that. Do you actually need 45kW? Has a heat loss calculation been done on the property?
