I really really really need about 2 inches of 28mm copper pipe...... its to join two compression fittings together....... I don't want to buy a 3 meter length, for 2 inches, cos I won't use it.

Is there anyone around Manchester area that might have a little bit knocking about that I could use...... Worth a try before I get my pants pulled down buying a full length of it

Cheaper than going to Stoke on Trent. What I find odd is microbore up to 28mm

Actually, if you can manage with 4omm, it will cost £1.96:
