Hi
I wanted advice on whether I have installed this fan incorrectly or whether it may be faulty.
The fan I replaced (different make model) was getting rather noisy and worked reasonably well but was still leaving some moisture in the bathroom.
It's ceiling fitted. The wiring in the ceiling ends in a connector block. From that block the previous fan had a short length of cabling that had three thin wires, brown / black / blue hard wired in to the connector block in the fan. I snipped these at the block end then connected these to the block in the new fan.
On the slower speed it's completely useless and even on the faster speed it still leaves way more moisture in the bathroom than the previous fan.
Not a scientific test I know but the old fan would easily hold a sheet of toilet tissue the new fan won't.
Also I don't think the timer function is working.
Any help appreciated
Thanks
