Hello,
We are replacing our bay window with like-for-like UPVC (current frame is damaged and we want to upgrade thermal efficiency).
What is the implication of getting a stock size window from a local company (well-rated), vs getting completely made-to-measure? We had a consultaiton with a big company (Anglin) and they seemed to say that the stock sizes will have drafts etc, cause issues with plaster. Is that legitimate, or just a selling tactic? Their prices are double the local company, who have good reviews, but use stock sizes.
