swimming records

You'll be humming that tomorrow, but not remember why. :)

About 15 or more years ago I bought my first mp3 player, not an ipod, and downloaded music from various free sites including a Russian one. Very occasionally, probably about 3 or 4 times in total, a track would appear on the playlist that I know for a fact I didn't download.
When I moved to Cornwall I stayed at my sisters for about 6 weeks while the house purchase went through, I tended to go to bed quite early to give them a bit of space and would plug the headphones into the mp3 player. Invariably, I'd wake up about 2am with 'whole lotta love' or 'motorcycle emptiness' or 'born to run' pounding my ears.
One time I woke up in the early hours with such a shock I sat bold upright saying WTF, where did that come from?, it was 'do the hustle' by Van McCoy. I made a mental note to delete it the next day but here's the thing, I found myself whistling that ******* tune all day. It's been on my playlists ever since.

Just thinking out loud...
Sir Steve Redgrave could start identifying as a woman and easily become Olympic champion at over 60, the first to win Olympics in both sexes and possibly the most famous sportsperson of all times...

I can't think of any competitive sport where women have the physical & mental advantage over men.

If a man was mediocre in his chosen sport, why on earth would he choose to become a woman just to gain the advantage?

I guess I just don't know.

I hope I never will.

If these trans people want to compete in Sport then maybe they should be allowed to compete in a category of their own.
