“Yes, of course I got it wrong, but I got it wrong for the right reason, if I may put it that way, he said."
Bit like your reasons for (not) leaving the UK for good when you told us all goodbye and that you’d booked your one-way flights and a container for all your possessions. Oh, and after that post you were deleting your account on this forum. Tell us again why you didn't. Go on, give us all a laugh.

 Talking of bullshît claims, how’s it going with that Ukranian refugee family you were going to put up in your house? Are they there yet? The war will be over at this rate!

Sadly I don’t think there will be many people left alive when that happens

More reason for Ellal to extract the digit and get on with it instead of just virtue signalling then going off-radar!

He’s wasting electricity charging a vehicle and wasting water. try a dictionary.
The part I quoted was "no juxtaposition" . You need to read before you get a dictionary.
The term describes two things' positional relationship to each other, nothing about what they are.

Wikipedia says "Juxtaposition is an act or instance of placing two elements close together or side by side."
Vocabulary dot com says " noun __ the act of positioning close together (or side by side)"
This one's about the right level for you , from "meanings for kids":

Whether you perceive association or dissonance, doesn't make them not juxtaposed.

If you can find an 8 year old, they would be able to explain it to you.

It seems the creepy stalking forum troll is getting really worked up today...

Let's hope it has an ample supply of tissues to clear up the mess!

Local councils save the planet
With there in house leccy cars

Come the winter they will be spreading / dumping thousands of tons of Rock salt on the high ways
That will dissolve into the surrounding eco system

:)

Yet another swervy swerve answer from the forum sanist/racist. One day you’ll surprise everyone by actually replying to a post. One day.

WITH CONTRASTING EFFECT.
you’re making yourself look not very bright , please stop.

I can read...

NO, there doesn't need to be a contrast.
I gave you three references.
It's very simple. Bit like your good self, thinking the rest of the world is wrong. It's simpler than that. Can you work it out? Who's actually wrong?

My Oxford English Dictionary, which is 100 years old and which I consider to be the authority on words, defines juxtaposition as "placing side by side".

Google, which I consider to be unreliable, defines juxtaposition as "placing contrasting things side by side".

Most people use the second definition nowadays.

Charliegolf also said he was going to take in a Ukranian family, and never mentioned it again.

Ukraine is out of the news now so the virtue signallers have gone quiet whilst waiting for the next contrived panic.

Nope. Google doesn't define anything, it's a search engine in this context.
Variously you will find "often for comparison or contrast". Then it's still a juxtaposition without that. The juxtaposition itself is not a comparison it's the placement.

How would you know what "most people use"? I don't think you'd be expected to be considered as well informed. Perhaps as a result of the sample of folk you read/hear from.
