There is evidence that about 60% of asylum claimants are accepted as genuine (by the UK). Do you want to be the one that sends an unsuccessful asylum seeker back to a death sentence?

And bear in mind, although this obviously doesn't preclude me from potentially being racist, I myself am mixed race so would fall into the bracket of a brown person on this forum. Over the years, although thankfully not to any great extent, I myself have been subject to racism in various forms from indirect, subtle and a bit more full on. So it would be a bit rich for me to be racist.

However, just because there's something going on that involves other black/brown people, doesn't mean I therefore have to fully subscribe to it. And, just because I don't subscribe to it, that doesn't mean I'm racist. Some folk just can't seem to grasp that concept.

There are women who claim to not believe that women are ever subjected to abuse, or suggest that rape is caused by the woman's behaviour, etc.
There are disabled people that say that disability is not a barrier in society, etc. There are people of ethnic minorities who claim that racism does not exist, etc.
Belonging to a particular group does not give you a monopoly on the facts of an unrelated issue.

So it will be interesting to see if whoever becomes PM actually does do something when they're in power. Again, I won't hold my breath.

If an unacceptable situation looks to be so difficult as to be almost defying solving is no reason to not try, We may at least make improvements.
And adding to the other previous comments about governmental policy, each successive PM (and FM) has claimed to have the solution to hand.

After due process he should get some type of medical check to see if any of his organs are suitable for transplant / donor surgery

There after at a suitable time a medical team can be on stand bye

To remove organs as and when he is bumped off

The bump off will be carried out humanely with all due respect for his human rights
