Got a 1920s slate roof replaced with a new tile roof. These patches are evident in the eaves - is it condensation?

It is yes.
The house is currently uninhabited, so nothing happening to generate moisture. Plenty of ventilation too with windows left open overnight. This is, admittedly, in an effort to dry out some moisture in what is a damp wee house. We've had a period of dry weather, and i've still noticed some smaller darker moist areas on these roof boards. It rained fairly heavily last night, and these patches were more prominent this morning.

If its more prominent after rain then its more likely to be ingress.
