MBA qualification

Been doing an MBA over past 2-3 years, got my final grades today. Achieved the qualification which I'm obviously pleased about, however a bit gutted I missed out (only just) on passing with distinction

180 credits in total. 120+ needed for distinction, I had 100. And they work in blocks of 20 so I only just missed out!

Not posting this as a boast or anything like that, just a bit p1ssed off that I got close to the distinction, would have been the icing on the cake.

p.s. yes I'm a mature student, VERY effing mature

To be honest, it could be argued I'm on the home run of my career, so in that sense I'm not a 24 year old hungry to climb the corporate ladder. One main driver believe it or not was to essentially tick a box should I ever decide to go for any promoted posts. The high majority now ask for a degree with some requesting postgrad level.

I won't say where it's from in case you say 'sh1te institution' however it wasn't from anywhere like the New University of Zimbabwe!

Well done. Doing any degree/masters part time while working is hard. There is snobbery against the Open University, but pretty much anywhere else is regarded as of value. Remember though (as I'm sure you know) management is about leadership qualities/behaviours not just qualifications.
