Oh, I do wish we could shut up about vax/anti-vax. For resilience of survival as a species as a whole we need diversity. If an entire population has zero or little diversity, one adverse event can wipe it out. Perhaps in X years everyone who had covid vaccines will suffer some catastrophic malady. Perhaps it will be everyone who didn't. Maybe covid vaccines will be the new thalidomide, maybe they won't. What's important (if you care about the future of the human race) is that there is a mix of factors and stresses that individuals are subject to, so that pandemic events are unlikely to have the same negative impact on every population member

Andy, there is plenty of evidence that the covid vaccine has saved many lies.
The fact you choose to ignore it, does not alter that.
Outbreaks of covid are being contained in Chinese cities with further lockdowns as cases rise - if people had got a jab these outbreaks would be far less severe and would reduce the impact on the wider population.
Anti-vaxxers appear to keep the covid rates high simply to give themselves something to whine about.
Ironic, isn't it?
I mean, a right-wing Daily Express reader would complain about the number of migrants being held in Kent while awaiting a decision on their asylum application. A left-wing Guardianista would complain about the conditions those migrants are being held.
Both complain about the situation, but from a different perspective.

Considering how densely populated their cities are it's no surprise the authorities will keep a lid on any outbreak, however small.
If China wanted to manipulate its population they'd simply send in a bunch of guys with a lot of guns and no sense of humour.
