Even Keir doesn’t want 'open borders' to help the NHS.

I believe it all started under Labour and Tony Blair with his education, education, education mantra and the banning of new grammar schools.
Grammar schools started disappearing in the 1960s - so a bit before Tony Blair's time. As for the peiple doing nanual jobs, you should be pointing a finger at middle class teachers who 60 years ago were forever repeating the mantra that "if yoi have a brain in your head it is demeaning to do any sort of manual work". As to trades education and bettering oneself by going to night schools, wasn't it Maggie Thatcher"s government (and John Major's, too) who withdrew a lot of funding from that sector? You seem to have missed that point

Your socialist principles seem to be a bit hit and miss. The Irish small holders were forced off their properties because of potato blight and the landed gentry took over their farms. Fast forward to today and the same is happening all over the eu.
Have you took time out to see what's happening in Holland?

You were moaning about farm animals being killed.

That's what happens to farm animals

Your off topic rant has nothing to do with that.

Went over your head you mean.
Farm animals can't be killed if there aren't any of them.

Nothing for you to moan about then

Though that's not what you said before.

You said nothing about socialism, or the effect of large wealthy businesses buying out small ones.

I think the clue was in asking you if you knew anything about Irish history.

Nothing about Socialism.

Nothing about big farms and little farms.

Just farm animals being killed

That's what they're for.

I get fed up about all this stuff. If there are genuine shortages of certain job types in the UK, we need to ask ourselves why this is before we start throwing about negative remarks about people that do come in, from wherever, to fill said job types. Recent history shows us there have been times when the UK has actively encouraged people from other countries to come here to plug the gaps. Then we have the audacity to moan about the very same people!

If there are problems in the UK with lack of folk to fill roles, it's our fault and our fault alone. We need to own it and stop friggin' moaning.

Note, in saying the above, I'm NOT saying I agree with the current small boat situation i.e. let anyone in from anywhere.

I was very disappointed by the lack of Brexers moving into the fruit-picking and winkle-collecting jobs.

Bone up on your Irish history first, saves shooting from the hip and not knowing what your on about
