PC is doing more harm than good for the people its supposed to protect.

So despite all the evidence implying the opposite, we know the police in Illford avoided policing these ethnic minority youths. Because Bod says so.

Why are we wasting time on this?

Mrs Bod told me about a friend who works in Homebase and is now handing her notice in.

She said that she was left alone on the till when a group of gypsies come in and just walked out with hundreds of £s worth of stuff.
She wasn't saying anything.

What name would you use to describe these sort of people John?

Where is any evidence of avoidance here because of race? I must have missed it.

So far it has been Bod making ignorant claims about a range of topics he doesn't understand and can't be arsed to learn about.

Plus a bit of 'it was better in my day' stuff thrown in about how 4-5 year olds should be taking part in competitive sports. :rolleyes:

That's a typical example where a big company relies on normal staff to do the managers and security work.

They obviously find it cheaper to allow some shrinkage rather than paying for more staff.

Don't see how its PC gone mad or even a PC issue

I wasn't referring it to being PC. Just a story that Mrs Bod told me this morning thst related to some of the posts on this thread.

It's not a term I use really but Mottie used it this morning and I've seen it used many a time.

And I think you have. If you have I'm sure you see can why a poster used the term, agree or not.

Staff being "pc" by letting a certain group out without paying ?

It's not PC it's just common sense. Till staff aren't paid to stop and challenge thieves, its part of their risk assessment.

You've started a thread about it, not demonstrated it and swerved away to something else.

Motties example is bad, but it's not exclusive to 1 section of people.
