The UN convention does not give a person a right to choose where they claim asylum. It simply does not require them to claim it the first safe country. if they stop in a safe country f

I think they embarrassed him by encouraging him to tell fibs. It was not a good result for him. Some lawyers try every possible angle irrespective of the damage. They would have been better focused on the area that had legs. But work is money and he has plenty.

At the lower end of the hierarchy in the UK there are Magistrates, Crown and County courts. These courts do not have the power to create or overrule precedent set in previous cases

AFAIK any decisions they make do not establish precedent. The A level guide above also implies you're wrong on this, I know there's specialist terminology and am no expert, can you explain further?
