Hey all,
some time ago I removed “gysum” panels from the walls. The wooden frame was directly screwd on stone wall, inside was foam and everything covered with “gypsum” panels. The stone wall was covered with them in 1982. The panels are 11 cm thick. One side is smooth and covered with white wall paint, another (inside) side is not smooth and have compressed some pattern. When you break it they are grey and fluffy inside with white fibres.
Last weeks I am so anxiety and panicking because I found that they could be asbestos. I removing them with two FFP2 mask each on other, but that is not enough for asbestos I think.
I am in panick so much and today try to burn inside fibres (on breakage) with lighter. Fibers burn immediatly and also grey inside of panels get to ash If you burn them a few seconds.
Do you think, that fibres would burn if they would be asbestos? Do you think that these panels are asbestos?
Thanks very much for help. I am so stressed and anxiety because I think I was exposed to asbestos.
