2xL1 and 2xL2 switch to L1 L2 and COM switch

Hi all,
New to the forum here.

I wanted to replace the switch in the picture attached (with two L1 and two L2 terminals). I don't have much experience but I thought it was going to be just replicating the same connection in the new switch.
The cables have all the same color (brown)

The thing is that the new switch I got has three terminals: 1WAY, 2WAY and Common.
Can this be used to replace the old one? If so, where to connect each cable?

No, you need an intermediate switch

The switch you show is likely an intermediate switch, which can't be replaced with a two way, it may also be a two pole switch can't tell from picture.
