Identifying L1,2, COM terminal on the switch

Trying to replace a two way switch with a pneumatic 2way timer switch, problem is the terminals on the new switch and the instructions, describe the terminals as Active (live), Looping terminal (not internally connected to switch) and Switch or control wire, which ones relate to L1, L2 and COM...

Are you sure it is 2way? I'm not an expert on this type of switch, although if it were 2way when the other switch is operated wouldn't the pneumatic switch turns the light off for a set period. :confused:
I always thought these type of switches would be wired in parallel i.e. each time switch can initiate the light with its and keep it on for its own timed period.
