Iran has been weakened and the Donald coming back doesn't bode well for them, Trump will possibly green light Israel to take out the nuclear facilities.
I sense a regime change, I'd much rather it came about by the people for the people, rather that outside force.
I think the Iranian people are hungry for it.

Trump may well give Isreal the green light to sort out there nuclear programme 
They will require help from the US with ref to bunker busting bombs / missiles
My advice ? May be is for the mad mullers to keep a suit case packed
They already have billions in funds abroad which they have stolen off there own population
So no need to do an Afghanistan I.e flee the country with suit cases full of cash
I assume they already have an escape plan ???
Mind you one does need to be pragmatic over the caper

I wish for Iran to stop funding terrorism, I wish for the Iranian people to live in a democracy free from oppression, I wish for the Iranian people to have free speech, the freedom of self expression, the freedom to choose their own government and the right to not be thrown off a rooftop for being gay.
I see a huge opportunity opening for the people of Iran, I hope they have the opportunity to embrace it, I picture the same for Syria, although perhaps too many outside vested interests at work there, Russia, Turkey.
Doesn't matter what I wish for, I'm just an ageing Irish Catholic with a soft spot for Jews.

I'm lost now, what do you think I was wishing for.
Somebody should point that out to Iran, although they possibly are.
Catholic religion? shocking. I should have pointed out that was a birth thing, I'm not a practising Catholic, in fact I was excommunicated in the 90's, not officially, the Pope didn't get involved, but the local priest refused to do my 2nd wedding on account of a previous divorce. Me mum explained to him that I was re-marrying my ex, another Catholic, but he wouldn't have it, so I told him he was a ***t, it went downhill from there really, he said something about never darkening the doors of a church again, not that I did much beforehand, weddings and funerals mainly.
In short, I have no religion, I don't believe in anyone's God.
Sometimes though, If I'm in Truro mooching about, I've been known to wander into the Cathedral, stick a fiver in the box and light a candle for me mum.
Never understood why.

I really thought you were Jewish. I hope that if there are any Jewish people watching this forum now or in the future, they will see there are those of us who will stand up against those who do not wish them well.
I lived there for a year almost 50 years ago, saw a rocket or two and the aftermath of suicide bombings on buses. 1976/1977, I arrived there shortly after the raid on Entebbe airport where 100 jews hijacked on an Air France jet were rescued by Mossad from certain execution, there was a 'fly by' over Tel Aviv of the aircraft involved in the operation and the sense of national pride was quite overwhelming. Of course, this wasn't that many years after the entire Israeli Olympic team were massacred in Munich by the PLO. The Israelis, and Jews in general have a lot of deep scars and wounds, most of which will probably never heal, and will likely never have the chance to heal before the next Arab atrocity against them, but let's pray that doesn't happen and there can be peace, although I have my doubts.
In short 1976/77 was a very happy period in my life, I met the friendliest people, was warmly welcomed, soaked up the culture and fell in love with a dancer from Bournemouth (also not Jewish). What's not to like.
As for religion, I'm agnostic, atheist, a non believer, a doubter, but nonetheless, I can't quite get my head around the left wing dogma that denounces all believers as nutjobs or followers of sky fairies. In short, I'm a heathen but I respect the right of anyone to believe in their own chosen God, and **** it, if I'm passing Truro Cathdral, I'll light a candle for me mum, for no other reason than she'd like it, if she knew, which she wouldn't because there isn't an afterlife, maybe.
