So about those tariffs...

Example 2:
Yes sir the price has gone up up because we had to add $20k import tax
Should be straight forward if the receipt of purchase shows clearly how much tarrif tax was paid.
A bit like the credit card payment protection insurance refunds,.
No win, no fee lawyers will be on to this.

Trump hornsmokers can't get enough of him...
The followers of the orange rapist will no doubt still try and convince us he's a 'good bloke' despite his latest random announcement of a 15% 'global tariff'...

Just like the 'man in the pub', both intent on chaos and ruin in their own interests!

Fact is that it’s possible that the supremes court intervention could ? Has ? Made things worse ?? For The UK

Companies attempting to get money back could find themselves in litigation for years ??

Plus the deal starmer did with trump could end up down the toilet with the UKs tariffs going up

Bussiness uncertainty

Etc etc

UK Trump horn smokers will not give a flying.

They’re used to it.

**ck Trump. His tenure will end.
Bussiness uncertainty
That’s what you end up with, when a power crazed rapist is allowed to run a country.

In the short term, probably. We may pay a higher tariff. And then there is the uncertainty.

But it's probably welcome overall. It stops Trump targeting individual countries with massive tariffs every time he has a hissy fit.

It's also really funny to see Trump so angry. The Supremes have stopped him playing with his favourite toy.

But the brexiteers/trump lovers told us we were getting a better deal than the EU

I think so too.

I've been thinking about this a bit more. I was working on the basis that no retailer would actually put the tariff on the receipt. But I have been reading that a small minority of niche retailers have been doing that.

So, I thought it would be interesting to discuss what the potential cause of action would be if the same thing happened in the UK. Would we be looking at misrepresentation of some sort.
