He has been doing the rounds I think its because he is launching his own airline using electric powered planes this year and he sees the 3rd runway as prolonging "normal fuel" aircraft which is not part of his business model. Well Rachel’s cunning plan turns out to be a sensible plan for growth and housing, mainly along an east west corridor between Oxford and Cambridge where there is a huge unmet demand for housing and space for bio science R&D. Mostly torey rural constituencies along the route so expect the nimbys out in force. I suspect all those brexxers who clamoured for economic sovereignty from the EU wont be so happy when the reality of investing in our country hits them.
