Moved into a house which has a Euro 46 alarm system, I would like to remove the alarm system. When I turned off the power and removed the battery the outside siren started to go off... seems it is not that easy.

Would really appreciate some advise on how can I remove the alarm or at least be able to remove the PIR for decorating without setting the alarm off, thanks.

Is this a complete removal? The external will sound without power on the main panel but this is 15~20mins. Do you have ladders?
I would like it to be a complete removal as we will be bringing over our Ring alarm system.

I have found out that the Smoke Alarm (one sensor) is also connected to the Alarm System, there is a cable labelled as 'SAB' in the control panel, I am guessing this is for the Smoke Alarm?

Is there any way to stop the outdoor Siren going off, my new neighbours are going to hate me :)

Not without ladders. SAB cable is for the external bell
I was told that I would go into the alarm system under engineer mode, (would need to reset the code) and then disable the external bell.

Would you guys recommend I change to a wireless Ring alarm or leave as it is?

Leave it …add app ( wifi XA card )
If it’s a version 10
I have a WiFi Card and the board (sticker) says v10.01h.

Is there anyway in which I can program the system myself, instead of paying for a installer each time I want to make a change?
