I need to cut out a damaged section of 10mm twin & earth cable and reconnect it - whilst the cable isn’t actually exposed, it is in a vertical position where it’s likely to get damp and drips on it.

Are there any IP68-style connectors designed for this, or will I need to silicone a round cable connector? Can’t see anything specific in Screwfix or Toolstation.

I doubt you will find a "one-peice" solution.

They make compression glands with a special insert for T&E, which could be used with a suitable enclosure. You would still have to figure out how you are going to actually connect the wires inside said enclosure though.

Cable is partially “outside”, but not directly exposed to sunlight when it is (it’s normally behind a metal cladding panel) . Lots of damp, condensation etc though.

Job for a sparky I think, cut it, put it in 25mm conduit through crimp inside whiska box.
