Yet another asylum seeker says 'Thank you' in their own special way to the country that accepted them

What does that have to do with the often pathetic sentences that are dished out?

If you're inferring judges are giving lesser sentences due to lack of prison places, then I'm confident most citizens would be happy for some more of their tax take to be spent on building more adequately staffed prisons. Perhaps direct more cash to this than stupid woke initiatives.
The trouble is we are now years behind on building the prison places

Blame who you want but it's the cutbacks and austerity that have cost us

We're years behind on everything!

Forward planning? Solid long term strategies? Government seems incapable of achieving it.

I am 100% confident we could give billions more through taxes and they still wouldn't deliver. Labour, Tories, any of them.

They don't want anyone locked up, we're doing it all wrong apparently.
Would you care to tell us which party was in power for 14 years out of the last 15?

The party that claimed it was the one that fought for 'law and order'

Yeah but what about the victims and justice for them? Their attitude is 'victims? PAH!!!'
See the above about that!

Comparing the UK to Ecuador isn't a reasonable comparison, comparitively speaking. All this "tough on crime" nonsense isn't making much of a difference, apart from overcrowding jails that aren't built to contain so many prisoners.

My post wasn't comparing UK to El Salvador.

My post wasn't even about crime.

Liberals!

What are you blethering about? The utter failure of government goes back way beyond 15 years! I'm blaming the lot of 'em!

And again:

I'll say again, is there some sort of sleeper awakening?

This is the thanks they give us for providing them with shelter from the countries they felt the need to flee from.

The more that come in to the EU, the more their attitude will permeate our European way of life.

Don't want to surprise you, but the people you are on about are not from the EU.

Despite what your "news" sources tell you
