Are we witnessing, in real time, the collapse of the left wing.

Not sure we're witnessing the collapse of the left wing. Hasn't Germany just voted in a hard left government? Voters obviously gone full 'tard and can't wait for many more stabby groomies.

There’s no country in Europe with a hard left govt.

The Scandinavian countries are perhaps the closest but they are still full, open market economies ie capitalism

good grief Notch. Sweden, is far from having a left wing government. I assume you haven't been for a while?

I didn’t say they were, I said they were the nearest.

And I didn’t specify Sweden

Norway for example:
the median Norwegian household ranks second among all national averages, and all the way down at the other end, Norway’s poorest 5 per cent are the most prosperous bottom 5 per cent in the world. Norway is a good place to live, whether you are rich or poor.

Do you have any evidence?
yes.

search for "BAME graduate jobs" you'll find 100s as well as specialist job boards. Then search "graduate recruitment DEI profiling".

Do you think the following are relevant questions to ask:
- were you entitled to free school meals?
- were your parent from professional backgrounds?
- what income bracket do your parents fall into?

You seemed to be saying that white etc. graduates had no chance of getting decent graduate jobs.

What is the point of having a vote, if an unelected power has authority over the will of the democratically elected representatives? So that will be 1949 then.

For me The Great Charter of Liberties 1215 was more important.
That was amended several times over ten years from the original deal forced on King J. by the Barons. Not much for the plebs, i'm afraid. It ensured the rights of the aristocracy to prevent them being squeezed for the Plantagenets family feuds in France.

They are negatively profiled. Yes.
I've been involved, in graduate schemes for decades and the "mandates" I find are frankly disgusting. I want the best person for the job. Not a quota.
