Because we are running out of hotel bed spaces, ilegal immigrants are a priority for new build housing. Great, no wonder this country is such a soft touch for them all to cross countries and pay 5k for a boat ride here. It all makes perfect sense.

As far as I can tell, he was shipwrecked three years ago after fleeing a civil war. Since then he had been held in limbo in a tent on a desert island. Then it seems he needed life saving surgery, so he was medivaced. Following surgery he was returned to the desert island.
He had tried to commit suicide and the medical treatment needed was a result of that
I didn't know that was the reason.
