New Oven Install (Cable, switch, connection) (Ed.)

Thank you - the photo of the circuit breaker on the fuse box is below.
Then it is probably a radial for the cooker outlet only, but you had better get a qualified electrician to check. There are Schemes had hold registers of members. This is one example, there are others. https://niceic.com/find-a-tradesperson/

You can still get cooker switches that have an integral socket, I have some. Handy for a built in oven plus a microwave or other appliance. They are a bit big but mine were carved into the wall when the house was built.

Modern ones can be a bit smaller but still need a deep backbox. The cables are rather thick. The cooker cable is typically connected to an outlet behind the cooker or below worktop level, but controlled by the visible and accessible switch.

I have been very happy with the quality of the Crabtree one

That’s good and bad.
Good: It shows the circuit has enough grunt for the load.
Bad: the circuit is not protected by a 30mA RCD, and you should not be putting a socket on there. I know there is already a socket on there, but that doesn’t make it right for a NEW socket.

I can't see the word "not" in the photo. Is it out of shot?
You are quite right. It doesn’t say “not” in thd photo. But you really should try and remember back only a few years to the regular 16th edition split consumer units.
The red label is a warning and in actual fact the label on Tenby & some other CUs sctually says
NON RCD PROTECTED
here’s one I prepared (much) earlier!
