OMG. This campsite is fantastic. The tent is brilliant. We went out and bought a TV. as she wanted to watch emmerdale and corrie. We have made a few £££s whilst been on here too, everyone loves us and we are a massive hit on the site.

She is having a whale of a time. I thought she would actually hate it. She has a few of the other wives to sit drinking wine all day and night with and they have all got into it really unexpectedly well. All us lads have had an absolute blast and I was actually surprised at how great I think it is too. Would recommend camping to anyone now.

We are used to luxury holidays and cruises. So as you can imagine I thought she would hate this as it seems like slumming it a bit in comparison but it definitely isn’t like that at all. We have hired a private toilet on an exclusive pitch which is really nice. A bit wild on the night but the other campers have accepted us for what we are and we have invited anyone complaining to come and have a drink with us and it has worked.

There has to be a point when a tent becomes so big and so luxurious that it is really just a budget challet

anyways this is my idea of camping - a night on the top of Ladhar Bheinn - no TV's involved (or wives)

I agree, it isn’t really like camping with this setup. It wouldn’t suit the type of adventure style of camping. Tents way too big.

I bought my missus an Air Beam Vango, so that she didn't need to bother with me. Expensive-ish but a great move.
