Reform did well. Again.

It can be asserted, at present, not much of our political machine is on the side of the people.

Hence a party like Reform gaining traction.

Only thing is, politicians are the problem. Reform are politicians. They'll just promise the world and do feck all just like the rest. Policians = traitors.

I think you're exactly right.

I can picture Farage now, at the dispatch box, x months in to becoming PM. Using the 'we inherited a mess' line as to why they've not yet delivered on x y z. I can also picture him at the dispatch box 18+ months after becoming PM, perhaps still using the aforementioned line, and also other excuses, oops sorry I mean reasons as to why for example the small boats are still landing.

not opinion its fact

Farage -private school education, resident of Belgium
Tice -private school education, resident of Dubai
Rupert Lowe -private school education
Ben Habib -private school education
Ann Widdecombe gammon -posh naval college in Singapore

What you trying to say, Notchy? I went to a private school. Bet I'm not the only one on here.

Surely you're not discriminating? Very un PC. Sort of thing you criticise others for.

Guessing you were a remedial at the local comp. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That’s the big problem: Reform claim to be on the side of the people, but they are on the side of the wealthy.

It’s the trick populists play: they claim to be anti establishment and fighting on the side of people.

But Nigel Farage, Richard Tice are entitled public school wealthy people

I’m not discriminating against people who went to private school.

I am pointing out people like Farage and Tice both went to expensive private schools, are both millionaires and yet they claim to be on the side of ordinary people - they aren’t.

I am personally in 2 minds about the private school system, I believe that people generally should have choice, but at the same time It’s true to say that the private school systems maintain the class system as does the Royal family.

Nigel Farage said: Liz Trusses budget was "best Conservative budget for 40 years"

so he is literally saying: "I love cutting taxes for the rich"

its fact not opinion -Reform policies literally prove they are free market libertarians.

Farage is a right wing populist, he is a rich private school kid pretending to be one the side of working class people

Farage believes in slashing public services (which ordinary citizens need), privatising NHS (which ordinary citizens need), deregulation of environmental control, workers rights, standards (which protect ordinary citizens)

Your rabid left opinion

Just accept other people have different ideas

Notchy is an old Tory at heart, just not an utter c**t like your average Forrigist.

Rabid left my arse.
Apparently criticising the awful populists like Farage, Trump or Boris means you must be a rabid lefty.

Yes, load extra costs and force some farms that have been in the same family for generations to be sold. It's always a good idea to tax the people we need to produce the food on our tables until the pips squeak. Guaranteeing higher food costs for us all and endangering food security.
Spent my adult life surrounded by these so called "Poor" farmers, often had them as customers - the self entitlement, the arrogance, the vast wealth...

tax them till the pip squeaks

I repeat:

it is fact that Reform want to slash the size of the public services, cut taxes for the wealthy and deregulate environmental controls, workers rights and standards.

I accept there are fickos who think the millionaire public school stockbroker Farage is on their side…..but he is not.

Please tell me why Farage won’t go anywhere near fishing communities since Brexit…..oh that’s right because he used them to sell Brexit and now it’s fekked their livelihoods. Farage the weasel.

So how come it wasn’t a problem before 1984 when the IHT farm concessions were introduced

awful populists like Farage, Trump or Boris

Begging the question, "Why are they popular"?

Because (whether it is right, wrong, practical, impractical, sensible, loony-toons), they'll target a group, and tell them what they want to hear.

That group being those who are either wilfully or ignorantly blind to facts, reality, practicality.............

That group being those with wealth, and are damned certain they're gonna hold on to it, and
those without wealth, who want to blame someone else for their predicament.

It's human nature to want something for nothing, or at least a bargain.
The ones who treat that as a realistic reality / inalienable right are "the group".

When anyone brings up SK's "my father was a toolmaker" quote as some means of deriding him, remember this:

at the threatened Scunthorpe steelworks recently, Froggy told the assembled steelworkers that he understood their situation, as he too "used to work in the metals business".

Only inasmuch as he was a commodity trader

FML...........
