Oh well in that case then, they just leave them there. I can see the logic in that.
no they leave them in the hope they may be able to claim asylum for themselves and their family

these people are in very desperate circumstances.

of course a percentage are not genuine, but many most certainly are

'family' billy.
Oh I see, So they come over here in a boat after their wives and children are already here. The ilegal figures must be double what. we are told then.

You say in camps across Jordan and Turkey yet Koko says they are already here. Just how confused are you both.

You are never funny. Liars rarely are.

3 years - 6 years FFS.
Do you think you will ever get over that? Not to worry I have. It is important that you remain insane. I love seeing you try to work things out. So tell me, how did their families get over here ?

I tend to not blame the individuals, I blame the systems that allow/enable them to do it.

I was a bit like that with the MP expenses scandal. Was the guy who claimed for a bird house morally wrong? Perhaps. But the system that rubber stamped his claim, to me that's even worse.

I'm still trying to process the 5 years - 4 years thing. Give the bloke a chance.
You have had plenty of time to process that, so tell us. How did their families arrive here first? I mean personally I would have thought they would all come together but that's just me. Intrigued to know what your logic is.

Do you know roughly what proportion already have family here. I've not found any figures (yet) when Googling.
No.
“asylum seekers generally have limited options available to them, and choices are made within a very narrow field of possibilities. Their choices and their journeys are often strongly influenced by the people smugglers, or agents, they engage to assist them”.
However....

Social and economic factors are relevant, less so the availability of benefits

Researchers say that, where people can choose, factors such as colonial and historical links, the presence of family members, general reputation as a safe country and language are relevant factors.
