Tried unblocking chemicals, plunger, twisty 3m wire thing, even got something from amazon that you pump up and it blasts air down.

Still partially blocked.

Anything else I can try or time to get a plumber to do it?

More details required, photos probably not.

Is it a ground floor, or upstairs toilet?

Have you worked out where it discharges to, the manhole, have you checked it is clear?

Squash bottle on a broomstick. Cut the bottom off the bottle and tape it on. Vileda mop handles often fit perfectly.

Is your soil pipe clay or plastic? A broken clay pipe underground can cause blockages which no amount of plunging will permanently clear.

If the blockage is in the wc pipe

Then lots of boiling water, pans and kettles poured from a height.I

Ground Floor. I guess I'd better find manhole.....

That’s your first step normally. You need to determine if the flush is flowing properly

We have occasional issues with the public sewer running across our front garden. The first thing i notice is the en-suite draining very slowly

Then i call Thames Water
