What is a Jetting bomb?Need to ascertain where the issue is before doing anything. You can plunge the Pan all day long, but if the blockage is a way downstream all the effort you're trying to create plunging the pan has long since disappeared before it even reaches where its needed. Ditto chemical, boiling water and most of the other claimed 'cures' for the issue, most of which only have any effect when the blockage is actually in the pan itself.
If Plunging the pan doesn't solve the issue, then the tried, tested and most superior solution any day of the week is mechanical force of some description to break up and dislodge whatever is blocking the pipe, and that means rods or a jetting bomb. If you're not confident doing that, get someone in who is. (Avoid anyone with A1 or Pronto in their business name, and/or in a fluorescent van though unless you've VERY deep pockets.)

Wooooooooooooooooooooooof!Dynamite will unblock it...

I do have one. I call it the thingy bob.
If it's shared then water board... Usually.Got a plumber out in the end. It was blocked further long under my neighbours driveway.
It appears theres only one manhole for the 3 houses in the row (nothing on my property).
To be fair sorted now - £40. Bargain.
For future reference, where does your responsibility end and water companies begin for blockages. I assume off the property limits??
Yes - once the drain leaves your property and joins the next one it becomes shared, then it should be down to either the Water Co or the LA to sort out.For future reference, where does your responsibility end and water companies begin for blockages. I assume off the property limits??
