Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

You both think we'd need permission from the Irish government to leave?
The Good Friday Agreement requires ECHR
Changing that requires agreement of Irish government.

We could just break the Good Friday Agreement, would that create problems? A = yes.

The ECHR is also written into the devolved govts of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, there would need to be significant legislative change by those three parliaments to withdraw from the ECHR. Also it would require renegotiation of the TCA.

Of course Starmer is renegotiating TCA next year, he could rewrite it making ECHR an unbreakable bond, so any U.K. govt would have to simply revert to no deal.

But it’s not a disastrous government.

If you want to see is disastrous govt have a look at America……that’s a disastrous govt and you want that coming over here. More fool you
Unemployment at a 4 year record high. Now 4.6%
Highest taxes and about to go up
Job vacancies down
illegal immigrants up by 50%
Economic growth stalling

All this in under a year - good job (y)

I am terribly sorry but you are wrong on absolutely everything. Oh dear.

1) Unemployment at 4.6% is an increase of 0.2% compared to May 2024 when it was 4.4%
0.2% increase is not a disaster, it’s well with normal range of movement.

Over last year employment has Increased by 667,000 (good job under a Labour govt (y) )
Employment rate in 2025 75.1%
Employment rate Jan to July 2024 74.8%
Employment rate up with Labour. Good job (y)

2) taxes have been forced up to pay for Conservative failure.
Tories left:
Prisons about to collapse
Ongoing public sector strikes
7 million NHS waiting lists
750,000 people unable to work due to waiting for NHS

Thank god Labour are now in power and sorting the mess out

3) illegal migration: is not up 50%, that’s not true, in fact it’s lower

Year ending June 2024 illegal immigration 39,000
Year ending June 2025 illegal migration 30,000 (11 months as its only beginning June)

4) economic growth is not stalling,

Nominal gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.6% in Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) 2025 and is up 5.8% compared with the same quarter a year ago.

Oh dear it turns out Motorbiking claim “this disastrous government” is based on Motorbiking false data, cherry picking and misinformation.

Motorbiking needs to get his head out of the Telegraph :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hiring freezes (y)

"It is likely that businesses will look to offset some of the rise in employment costs through a combination of reducing headcount and slowing hiring activity,"
Labour Policy. (y)

He must be - he has spent years balancing on a fence and tiptoeing through gender.

He did what had to be done. Pretty skilfully in retrospect. Now he is in power, he can act more sensibly.

Another Tory reject now a Reform councillor

What sort of clown would support this shower
