Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

they have regained two points in the polls. We may end up with a Reform/Con coalition government next time. I like coalitions, they stop the dumb policies.
So you want a coalition of

Tories that failed totally for 14 years straight with Nigel Farage who conned the public into supporting brexit which has massively damaged the country

And why do you want it?

A = because they push low taxes for the wealthy

I’ve already answered, because they stop each other from doing dumb things.

Since Labour have been in government enforced returns are up 24%

Since Labour have been in power returns of criminals up 23%

Record number of appeals.
yes a legacy of the previous government.

Appeal numbers were shooting up in 2023 and first half of 2024

What a shame the Conservative government spaffed £800m on the Rwanda scheme (most of which probably ended up in the hands of Tory mates) instead of investing the money in home office

Your probably right with that assumption, it was labour that scrapped it though and wasted what had been spent.

Even the right wing Spectator says Reform Party has no plan on stopping the boats

“its concrete policy proposals on this, its flagship issue, are risible”

“On Tuesday Reform put out a post on its X social media feed mocking Labour’s efforts and hailing its own ‘Four point plan to end the national security emergency in the Channel.’

The problem is that Reform’s ‘plan’ will not stop the boats either.”

Your cognitive dissonance is laughable.

You can’t waste money that’s already been wasted.

The Rwanda scheme had been ruled illegal by the Supreme Court, so it was a scheme dead in the water.

No it wasn't dead in the water, it had been passed the second time to say it was safe.

Those 2 parties only have dumb policies, so dumb is the only outcome.

It doesn’t matter what you say, the fact is both of those parties are free market libertarian populist parties that want low taxes and deregulation.

In other words benefits the wealthy only.

No it wasn't dead in the water, it had been passed the second time to say it was safe.
The Conservatives pushed a bill through parliament that declared an unsafe country to be safe.

Do you seriously think a law that compels the courts to disregard other British laws or international rules was ever going to work?

By the way Rwanda only had places for a few hundred anyway

IMO all that net zero bollards is just that, a load of bollards. When the sun doesn't shine and the wind bloweth not, fossil fueled power stations are and will be needed for the foreseeable future.

They would be kept as backup, I would imagine. So we only use them a little bit.

A "little bit" would not apply when the whole of the UK sits under a deep depression keeping the atmosphere stationary for days maybe weeks on end.
