I have a feeling I'm going to be told its not legal and generally I shouldn't do it. Its 2M tall and fits into one kitchen bay so about 600x600
Council wants £58 to collect. I'm planning to take off the doors and unscrew anything I can see. In fact I'd be willing to take the time to dismantle it properly particularly if I knew the refridgerant wouldn't escape that way.
Otherwise its out with the angle grinder. Now, I'm not sure if the tip would accept "half a fridge"or worse would report me to some environmental authorities for a scary fine. So part of me is thinking to chop it into bits so nobody knows what was.
Yes I should have paid the £30 the new fridge company to remove but I am where I am.
I will try to offer it free but I suspect nobody would want it. Why would they ?
Any tips on an approach to this would be particularly gratefully received.
P.S. I'd never consider doing it in a million years but its no wonder there is a problem with fly tipping blighting various nature spots. They make it so difficult and expensive to get rid of anything....
