Am I being stupid but why cant borders be opened and all civilians be let through after checks and those hamas who want to stay and fight then let them.
 
Odd that there is such shock, horror and outrage that a terrorist was shot in a hospital bed by the IDF. He was obviously a high profile target to begin with or they wouldn't have gone to this extreme to get him.

There are only two borders, Israel and Egypt. Neither want them.

They are trying their best to not kill civilians, but in any war, especially one in a built up area, civilians will be harmed.

Israel won't stop until they've flattened Gaza and liked every Palestinian.
