I'd like to get a good green laser level, one that works and has features that are useful. If possible I'd like it to have 360⁰ beam.

I came across this review. Would you recommend any of these?

i'd be grateful for your advice.

What’s your budget ?
I'm considering the DeWalt green laser level which is £130 but happy to pay more for extra functionality/accuracy. Can you suggest a couple of options?

I still use my trusty dewalt red one which I’ve had for a very long time

Can’t justify replacing it

The review of the Bosch machine says that backup batteries might be necessary. It omits to mention that the Bosch is supplied with a caddy that enables you to use regular batteries.

I am always cynical of affiliate review sites, perhaps unfairly though.

My Huepar 360 is better than my Bosch. More functions, cheaper and just as accurate. Plus it has pulse mode so works with a detector.

Do mean the DW088CG-XJ. I have the red version of it. It does horizontal and vertical but doesn't do 360.

No. Sorry but it’s a great unit
I got the DEWALT DW088CG-XJ green laser level.

How do you set it at the right level? I don't have a magnetic doorframe or similar in the room I want to use it. I guess I could get a tripod which is convenient but a tad expensive. Any other clever solutions?

I have the same as you. It flashes if it’s not set up within a certain tolerance. When my mate who is a plasterer came round, he stuck it magnetically on my wall corner! WTF? He said it sticks to corners if you have an angle bead in the plaster! I was using mine balanced on top of its box, on top of a toolbox, on top of a workmate. As I said earlier, if it is not set up within a few degrees of level, it will flash instead of giving a solid beam.
