Could women compete with the men? No
Is the womens game entertaining? I think it is yes

It was a screen shot from BBC women football presenters - 4 of them stood around a designer table that looked a little bit like an iron board so it was a sexist joke about ironing.
What stood out to me though with the picture is that with the mens game they seem to HAVE to have a women commentator but for the women’s game no such need for there to be a man.
I appreciate that. But the way it has been done feels right to me. I can't really explain why. Maybe it would feel like the man was there to explain things properly. Earlier in the tournament, one of the channels had a token bloke on and I felt sorry for him.

I went to show my wife (she would have seen the funny side) but could mnot find it - thought I was loosing my marbles
He obviously doesn't watch it otherwise he'd be aware Jonathan Pierce does commentary.
His high pitched excitable tone compliments the game well.
