I guess he has left the country either because he did nothing wrong and was going abroad anyway or because he knows that the law in this country works differently depending who you are!

In all probability it was Tommy who was defending himself from a thug trying to assault him!
Tommy would know better than to attack someone without provocation. And especially when he knows how corrupt the law is and that he has only just got out of prison.
Its obvious that the gutter press will be attacking and blaming Tommy. Just like you and your hamas supporting buddies....

Maybe Tommy should have hung around for the police. Then again, he probably knew how he would get treated!!!

Should be settled in court, or by police questioning. No need to flee if there is video to support his case, or he has a good defence case.
If it gets to court then I'd suggest there is enough to warrant getting him there.
