Can anyone confirm what I should use to dot and dab plasterboard to this wall please ?
I think they are thermal/thermalite blocks ‍♂️
You can hopefully see the previous adhesive was light in colour and seemed really hard.
The blocks are soft and you can easily jab a screwdriver into them if that helps determine what they are

Also, I need it to be strong as I’m going to be hanging a radiator so where the brackets are fitted, I plan to do a solid line of adhesive vertically as I’ll be drilling through it eventually

Thanks in advance all IMG_2295.jpeg

Id use 4 to 1 watered down PVA on blocks. Will give you more time to work with it although the pros like the suction so don't use PVA.

Powdered board adhesive. Wickes and b and q sell

The rad brackets should to fixed to the blockwork , the plasterboard does not support them.

Is this another alternative @Wayners

@foxhole - yes I’m aware and have some core fix fittings to use but as it’s dot and dab my plan was just to go belt and braces and just do a complete line of adhesive behind where the brackets will be
Overkill, but if I’m gonna need to buy a bag of adhesive, I might as well use more of it than less

Thanks both for your input
