From BBC News "The now former minister was charging her four former tenants £3,300 a month. Yet after they moved out, she charged her new tenants £4,000 - a rent increase of more than 20%."

It wasn't a sham, she put it on the market. I suspect she had the kind of politics that Kieth was glad for the excuse to get rid of.

Even more generous then, a good paying tenant on a lower rent is better than a difficult one on higher rent.

I'll say again, yes we need much tougher rules around immigrants in general, however I've no time for the likes of Yaxley-Lennon, Lowe etc and the hatred filled rhetoric they spout.

Yeah, at a price that it wouldn’t sell for. Then, unfortunately she had no choice but to rent it out again and blow me, she found out she could rent it out for £700 more than she was getting previously. What a stroke of luck!!!

That sounds a very roundabout way to minimise the PR consequences of a rent rise, I just don’t believe it and it didn’t work anyway

That might be an interesting test of Lowe's plan. How far back would it go. If someone has lived here for more than forty years, would they still be deported if they breached one of his conditions. Do you think she should be deported.
