Well, this light is very different; it allows you to see if people are real or not...
That makes little sense to me....
Over the years, I've designed and invented numerous things, solutions to many problems, some I've tried to progress, some I have simply made sort of open source. None have ever made me money. I spent months, developing the electronics, and software, decades ago, for an entirely new form of central heating control. Very sophisticated it was, way ahead of the commercial units, but I go nowhere with that, ended up publishing the design, free to copy.
The last 'really useful' item, was a gadget which showed you from outside the caravan, when you got the caravan precisely level, side to side, end to end. No more guessing, no more struggling to see a tiny bubble level - just an LED display, hung in the front window, making adjustment quick and easy, and exact. I offered the design for that, to anyone who fancied building one, then soon found there was someone copying the principle idea, but it was hopelessly inaccurate, so never managed any sales.
Having a good idea, and being able to turn it into a working prototype is simply not enough, and it's the easy part. The idea has to be commercially reproduceable, then the cost has to be a cost, that people will see a need for it, and want to buy it.
